Software Compatibility

Off the Blocks strives to be compatible with with other software swim clubs might use.  For example, you may use Quickbooks to invoice or club management software to track swimmers.  You can export swimmers or parents from this kind of software to keep your OTB website and these programs consistent.  Some clubs also use various swimming sources such as news from USA swimming that they wish to display on their website. That kind of function is easy to do in OTB.

Browser Compatibility

Off the Blocks software is tested to assure compatibility with browsers. Visitors to OTB swim club websites can use a wide variety of browsers. However, not all browsers follow www3 standards and this can cause problems, especially for those who edit an OTB website. Currently, the browsers that are most compliant with the rules are Firefox and Mozilla. Internet Explorer (including AOL) and Opera are the least compliant we have tested. For individuals who will be editing pages, we highly recommend the use of Firefox or Mozilla because you will probably have fewer problems.
