HyTek and USA Swimming Compatible Websites for Swim ClubsOff the Blocks strives to be compatible with HyTek software, USA Swimming, and a variety of browsers. You do not have to use Hytek Software with your Off the Blocks website. But if you do … Hytek’s Desktop Team Manager:The desktop version of HyTek Team Manager can create html files of rosters, swim meet entries, swim meet results, time standards, records, and best times. If you use this software and want to integrate the files created by HyTek Team Manager into your OTB website, upload the files created by Team Manager to your website and then link to them.
If you want, you can also export your swim team and import it into your Off the Blocks website. This will set up all swimmers and make it easy to use the sign-up for swim meets options in the OTB website.
Hytek’s online Team Manager:This version of Hytek’s Team Manager will provide rosters, meet entries, meet results, team records, and best times all from the online searchable website. If you use this service, you need only provide a link to it in the OTB website. Hytek's Meet Manager:If you use HyTek Meet Manager, you can "print" meet results in html. Upload these to your website and add them as the meet results (or link to them in articles or elsewhere). If you use the online version, Live Meet Results, contact us. We can help you set up this feature on your Off the Blocks website. USA SwimmingOff the Blocks record boards modules include all regular USA swim meet formats, although we have also included record boards for NISCA high school meets. If others are needed, let us know. It is also very easy to add links to USA Swimming special features, such as the sign-in page for the IMX Challenge! USA Swimming stores results of all major meets and most kids best times are available. These pages can be linked in your Off the Blocks website.
Browser Compatibility The software used by Off the Blocks is tested to assure compatibility with most browsers. Visitors to OTB swim club websites can use a wide variety of browsers. However, not all browsers follow www3 standards. Currently, the browsers that are most compliant with the rules are Firefox and Mozilla. Internet Explorer (including AOL) and Opera are the least compliant we have tested. For individuals who will be editing pages and using web master software, we highly recommend the use of Firefox or Mozilla because you will probably have fewer problems.
