Coaching Staff

John Turner is beginning his 26th year of coaching in Tulsa. He has been a successful coach in three other states prior to coming to Tulsa. He has coached swimmers at all levels, from novice competitors to three Olympic competitors.

Coach Turner earned his Bachelors Degree in Health and Physical Education from Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota. He also earned his Masters in Education from Winona State. He has had articles published in Swimming World, Swimming Technique, Coach and Athlete, and Swimming Coach. He was consulted as a resource for the book, Swimming II, the international series on sport sciences.

Coach Turner has coached sixty-six National High School All-Americans, ninety-two High School State Champions, six NAIA National Champions, eight NAJA All Americans, sixteen NCAA Division II All Americans, seven NCAA Division I Qualifiers, countless National Top 16 Qualifiers, two Top 16 National Champions, five Olympic Trials Qualifiers, three Junior National Champions, two Junior National Record Holders, one YMCA National Champion, one YMCA National Record Holder, four Pan American Games competitors, twelve South American Games competitors, and three Olympic swimmers.

Coach Turner has a lovely wife, Carol, and four children. He is the most successful coach in the state of Oklahoma and the only American Swimming Coaches Association Level 5(top level) coach in Tulsa.

Sara Natale began her swimming career at the age of eight, swimming Park & Rec. at a Salvation Army Boys’ Club in Tulsa.  She swam on club teams in Oklahoma, Maryland and Colorado.  She ended up swimming in High School at Broken Arrow.

Coach Sara graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1999 with a degree in psychology.  She started coaching for JTSC in 1998, working with novice and age group swimmers.  She is currently coaching the Advanced Age Group.

Sara is a member of the American Swim Coaches Association, and maintains a level 3 standing.  She has also been chosen as an Oklahoma Zone Team Coach for the last 4 years.  This will be her third year coaching for the Jenks High School Team.

Vicki Campbell is in her third year of coaching at Jenks. She was a lifeguard, canoe instructor, and sailboat instructor during her college years.

Coach Vicki graduated from Northeastern State University in 1990 with a degree in Elementary Education and a Kindergarten endorsement. She is currently a kindergarten teacher at Jenks East Elementary.

Coach Vicki has a wonderful husband, Todd. They have a daughter and a son who are also on the Jenks Trojan Club Swim team.

Stephany Foutch is in her second year of coaching for Jenks, but is very familiar with the team. She is a former JTSC swimmer and Jenks High School swimmer. Everything she knows is from Coach Turner.

Coach Stephany graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2004 and during college was a lifeguard for OU and at Camp Loughridge in Tulsa. She was also a coach for SSC in Norman. She is currently the Director of Alumni and Special Events for Rogers State University.

Coach Stephany has a funny cat, a horse and a few cows. She loves working with your children and JTSC.
