As promised, here is online registration information for the 2010/2011 Otters Fall/Winter swim season.
You have two opportunities to register for the upcoming season. Please register by the deadlines so that we can accurately determine if younger 11 year old swimmers can swim at an earlier time. If you have a 10 and under swimmer, be sure to indicate if you are signing up for the 4:30 or 7:00 practices on Monday and Wednesday by putting the time next to the name.
1. Fill out the attached forms and mail them by Sept 7 to Laura Fant, 9 Cherry Lane, Madbury, NH 03823
2. Fill out the attached forms and drop them off at the registration night for new swimmers on Sept 14, ORMS cafeteria, 6:00-7:00.
Write one check made out to Friends of Otters for all applicable Swimmer and Diver registrations involved.

2011 New Otter Swimmer Registration Form (PDF) - This form is to be filled out for all swimmers that are new to the Otters for the 2010/2011 Fall/Winter season. It provides parental consent for various aspects of the swim team, emergency contact information, indicates swimmer T-shirt size, and confirms Swimmer/Parent (or Guardian) acceptance of the Team Responsibility form.
2011 Returning Otter Swimmer Registration Form (PDF) - This form is to be filled out for all swimmers that have previously been on the otters. Again, it is used to update medical/contact information, provides parental consent for various aspects of the swim team, indicates swimmer T-shirt size, and confirms Swimmer/Parent (or Guardian) acceptance of the Team Responsibility form.
Team Responsibility Form - This form is to be read and accepted by all new and returning swimmers and their parent/guardian for the 2010/2011 Fall/Winter season. It does not need to be returned with the registration materials.
2011 Otter Diving Registration Form (PDF) - This form is to be filled out for all divers that are new/returning to the Otter diving program for the 2010/2011 Fall/Winter season. It provides parental consent for the diving program, athlete and medical information, and confirms Parent (or Guardian) acceptance of the accompanying Diver Responsibility form (PDF). Note that the Diver Responsibility Form does not need to be returned with registration material.
2011 Athlete Registration Form (PDF) - This form is to be filled out for all swimmers for the 2010/2011 Fall/Winter season, so that they can be registered as a USA Swimming member in the New England LSC.
2011 Non-Athlete Registration Form (PDF) - This form is to be filled out by all parents on the Otters that are coaches, officials, or board members and should be returned with the swimmer/diver registration forms.

Registration information for NEW swimmers Fees per swimmer for the season are $385+$60 USA Swimming fee.

Registration night on the 14th is a drop off your forms/ask questions night. We will also have swim suits for your child to try on to determine what size is needed. You are not required to buy a team suit, but 95% of the kids wear them at meets. You will not be ordering suits at this time - simply determining a size. We will give you instructions on how to order suits online. Orders will need to be placed by a specified date. They will be delivered to Liz Shay who will distribute them during practices.
Team designation is determined from the last date of competition.Swimmers must wait 120 days.
If your swimmer’s last competition date was in Feb/Mar, she/he will compete as an Otter from the beginning of the season.
If your swimmer’s last competition date was the Champ meet, Aug 7-8, she/he must wait 120 days before we can designate her/him as an Otter swimmer.For any meets during that time, your swimmer’sdesignation is UN (unattached).After Jan 6, your swimmer will be designated ORO.

Fall Diving Program
We will again be offering diving practices from Sept 25 to November 13. After 3 successful years, we are now ready to divide the divers based on their abilities.
We will hold a place for all returning divers until Sept. 7. Simply email your intent to dive by that date. This way I know how many new divers we can take in each session.If you miss this deadline, spot availability will be on a first come basis.
All divers should complete the attached forms 1. Mail them by Sept 7 to Laura Fant, 9 Cherry Lane, Madbury, NH 03823 2. Turn them in at the Spring/Summer celebration on Sept 8 at the ORHS multipurpose room, 5:30-6:00.
If you have missed the first two deadlines, email me your intent and use as last resort to turn in paperwork. 3. New swimmer registration night on Sept 14 at the ORMS cafeteria 6:00-7:00.
Dues are $60.Please make check out to Friends of Otters. This check is for the Otter dues portion only. All divers will again need to register with USA Diving ($12). Do not do this until I have confirmed that we have room for your diver in the program.
Diving will be held on Saturday and Sunday night starting Sept. 25. 4-5pm Level 1 5-6pm Level 2 6-7pm Level 4 7-8pm Level 3
Level 1: Comfortable with jumping off the 1m diving board.
Level 2: Can perform a forward dive off the board (no required position), and a back fall-in from the board (this includes being assisted by the coach).
Level 3: Can perform at least 3 dives with fairly definitive position (i.e. fwd dive tuck, back dive straight, inward dive tuck, and any somersaulting dives).
Level 4 Pre-team: This class will be for divers already on a team, advanced divers, and divers entering HS who intend on diving with a team.
Special diving times will be announced for Oct. 23 and 24. There will be no diving for 11 and up swimmers on the 23rd and no diving for 10 and unders on the 24th.Plan on a 2 hour diving practice on the day you do have it.

This form is to be filled out by all parents on the Otters that are coaches, officials, or board members.The team pays your fee for registration.
Please send this in with you swimmer’s forms.
Officials do not need to send in copies of their meets.All sanctioned and approved meets have been added by the referee online.If you want to add the non recognized meets to show that you work more than just a couple of meets per season, you can go online to do this.
Coaches - unless a certification has expired, you do not need to send in copies of any cards.If a certification has been renewed and I have not sent in a copy previously, then I need a copy of the new card.
Board Members - you have no additional info that needs to be sent in to NE Swim.
