Summer 2008  Oyster River Otters Practice and Meet Schedule

July 24: Only 1 practice in Dover for all swimmers

             4-5pm

Practices

1.          We are able to return to the UNH pool for summer practices.  Last year due to maintenance projects, we had used the Durham outdoor pool.  We are not using that pool this year for practices.

 

2.          Spring/Summer practices will start on April 28^th at the UNH indoor pool and end on June 19^th.  We have to take the week of May 19^th-26^th off.
Monday and Wednesdays         3:30-4:30p       9 and up swimmer

4:30-5:00p       8 and under swimmers

 

                        Tuesday and Thursday              3:30-4:30p       11 and up swimmers

                                                                        4:30-5:30p       10 and under swimmers

 

             Out of town swimmers come when you can and stay for an hour.

 

3.         Starting June 23 practices in Dover at the outdoor pool

Monday – Friday                      4:00-4:45p       8 and under swimmers

                                                4:00-5:00p       9-10 swimmers

                                                4:45-6:00p       13 and up swimmers

                                                5:00-6:00p       11-12 swimmers

 

4.         Starting June 24 practices in Durham at the UNH Indoor Pool

Tuesday-Thursday                    7:00-8:00a       11 and up swimmers

                                                8:00-9:00a       9-10 swimmers

8:15-9:00a       8 and under swimmers

 

Meets

1.      Swimmers must attend 2 meets to participate in Champs.

2.      Some meets have not been scheduled yet and will not appear on the calendar attached.

3.   June 8^th : 2 meets in one day.  Join us for 1 or 2.  Picnic and fun activities between meets.  Make a day of it.

4.      GSSA Champs: Aug 2 and 3.

5.      If we are assigned to Dover (to be determined in May)

Aug 2   am                   10 and under swimmers

Afternoon       11 and up who swim the 200 free and 200 IM

 

                        Aug 3   all day  all 11 and up swimmers
