The 2008-09 Fall/Winter Season is just around the corner!!  THE REGISTRATION FORMS AND THE SEASON FEES ARE LISTED BELOW ON THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.  Please download the forms before coming to one of our two registration nights.  Our registration nights are scheduled for the following nights:

Bloomington: Monday September 8th @ Oak Grove Middle School pool between 6:30pm and 8:30pm
Shakopee: Tuesday September 9th @ Shakopee Junior High School pool hallway between 6:00pm and 7:30pm

NEW swimmers bring a suit and towel to registration.  We will determine what level you should sign up for by getting you in the water and one of the BAC coaches will evaluate and determine your team level.

Barracuda Aquatics Club says goodbye to two of their coaches from this past summer!!  Mike Wood will be leaving BAC for St. Cloud State University, where he will be going to graduate school for Sports Management and will be St. Cloud State swim team's graduate assistant coach.  BAC also says goodbye to Kim Kazika, who will be going back to her collegiate swimming career at the University of Minnesota.  Good Luck to both!!
BAC, however, says Hi to three new coaches starting this fall/winter season!!  Our new coaches are:
Rebecca Meyer- she will be helping us out at the Age Group and Senior levels.  Rebecca is a former BAC, Shakopee High School and Iowa State University swimmer.
Adam Waudby- he will be helping us out by coaching the Developmental group in Bloomington.  Adam is a former Luther College swimmer.
Jason Oberg- he will be helping us out at the Age Group and Senior levels.  Jason is a former Apple Valley High School swimmer where he was a 4-time High School All-American and State Champion.

Congratulations to our BAC swimmers that represented Team Minnesota at the 2008 Central MegaZone Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana at the IUPUI Natatorium.  15 States/LSC's were represented at this year's Zone Championships.  BAC had Sacha Broccard, Samantha Feulner and Tiana Wollin competing in the meet.  Here are some notable swims from our swimmers:

Sacha Broccard - placed 29th in the 200 Breaststroke breaking the Boys 15-16 BAC record and helped Team Minnesota's "A" Relay place 11th in the 400 Medley Relay

Samantha Feulner placed 31st in both her 50 and 100 Freestyles and helped Team Minnesota's "A" Relay place 2nd in the 200 Freestyle Relay and helped Team Minnesota's "A" Relay place 5th in the 400 Freestyle Relay

Tiana Wollin placed 14th in her 200 Butterfly and placed 20th in her 100 Butterfly, also helped Team Minnesota's "B" Relay place 8th in the 200 Medley Relay

Congratulations Cudas!!

Congratulations to all of our State Championship swimmers!!  All of our swimmers swam great at the meet.  Some notable performances were:

Samantha Feulner placed 8th in the 100 Freestyle and 10th in the 50 Freestyle in the Girls 15-16 age group.
Tiana Wollin placed 6th in her 100 and 200 Butterfly events in the Girls Senior age group.
Jaclyn Kahnke placed 8th in the 1500 Freestyle and 10th in the 800 Freestyle in the Girls Senior age group.
Sacha Broccard placed 16th in the 400 Freestyle in the Boys 15-16 age group.  And, broke the BAC Boys 15-16 year old 100 Breaststroke record that was held by Matt Girard in 2003.
Malena Maxwell broke her own BAC 50 Backstroke record for Girls 11-12 year olds.

Good Luck to Samantha Feulner, Tiana Wollin and Sacha Broccard at the Central Zone Championships this week in Indianapolis, Indiana.
